Texas Tech has now sold out each of its first five home games of the season
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics announced Monday its Homecoming contest against Kansas on Oct. 11 has officially reached sellout status with more than 60,000 fans expected to pack Jones AT&T Stadium.
Â
Texas Tech has now sold its primary ticket inventory for each of the first five home games of the season, including the Oct. 25 showdown against Oklahoma State, which reached sellout status this past summer. The Red Raiders previously played in front of capacity crowds in each of their first three games of the season against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Kent State and Oregon State.
Â
While Texas Tech is out of its primary ticket inventory, tickets can still be purchased for both the Kansas and Oklahoma State games through SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of the athletics department. Â
Â
Kickoff times for both the Kansas and Oklahoma State games will be announced in the coming weeks under the Big 12's television selection process. All conference games are selected on either a 6-day or 12-day window by the Big 12's television partners ESPN, FOX and TNT Sports.
Â
Texas Tech is moving closer to selling out each of its seven home games this season as the athletics department has less than 400 tickets remaining for its Nov. 8 home date with BYU. Tickets are also still available for the Nov. 15 home finale against UCF.
Â
As a reminder, fans are highly encouraged to download their tickets in advance of arriving to Jones AT&T Stadium in order to speed up the entry process and to ensure connectivity. Fans unable to make a game can transfer their tickets to a friend or family member by using the Texas Tech mobile app or by accessing the online ticket account at TexasTech.com. Step-by-step instructions can be found here via TexasTech+.
