Lady Raiders release nonconference schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team has released its nonconference schedule on Monday afternoon, highlighted by eight home games.
Tech begins the season in Lubbock for its first six games as the team hosts North Carolina A&T on November 3 to start the year. The Lady Raiders welcome UTSA on November 6 and Texas State on November 9, before hosting SMU and Arkansas on November 13 and 16, respectively.
Tech's final home game before heading on the road will be on November 20 against Mississippi State. Then, the Lady Raiders travel to Albuquerque, N.M., to take on the University of New Mexico the 23rd. The Lady Raiders will also compete at the Hoopfest Women's Basketball Challenge at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas for two games. First up, Tech will face Old Dominion on November 25, then will play North Texas on November 27 to round of the tournament.
The Lady Raiders begin December with a home contest against Wichita State on the 3rd. Tech then travels to Pullman, Wash., to take on Washington State December 12. The Lady Raiders and Abilene Christian will play a neutral game in Odessa on December 14, before the team comes back home for its last nonconference matchup against Jacksonville on December 17.
