Boyce, Edlund highlight final day for Tech men Friday

Desean Boyce and Oskar Edlund each finished 4th in their respective events
EUGENE, Ore. – The Texas Tech men's track and field team wrapped up its season scoring 16 points Friday evening at Hayward Field. The men end the year 17th overall in the team standings.

In the first running final of the day for Tech, Desean Boyce finished fifth in the 400m with a time of 45.78. Boyce entered the event ranked 24th in the NCAA.
Over in the 400m hurdles, Oskar Edlund capped off his Red Raider career with a fourth-place outing going 49.02. He earns his second-straight First Team All-American honor.
In the final race and event of the night, Ernest Cheruiyot finished 16th with a time of 13:38.09
