
NCAA Lubbock Regional altered to Sunday start

LUBBOCK, Texas – Due to the forecast of rain in the Lubbock area on Monday, May 5, the Lubbock Regional, one of six sites to host the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship, will begin play on Sunday, May 4 at the Rawls Course.
Teams will play a practice round in the morning, followed by first-round tee times beginning at 1:30 p.m. CDT on Sunday. Texas Tech's Klara Hurtova, who was one of six individuals chosen to participate in the regional, will tee off at 3:20 p.m. CDT.
If weather permits, the second round will start on Monday morning with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. CDT. Â The third round would be played on Tuesday if Monday remains on schedule. The regional has until Wednesday to be completed.Â
The event is free for the public to attend.
Free public parking is located in the S1 lot at the corner of Texas Tech Parkway & 8th Street (map). Shuttle service will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday to transport fans from the S1 lot to the Rawls Course.Â
