
Gribble, Jennings soar to new heights

Both Sean Gribble and Bradford Jennings more than likely booked a nationals spot
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech track and field team wrapped up the fourth-annual Jarvis Scott Invite at home, while the women's distance team completed their day in Boston at the David Hemery Valentine Invite.
Jarvis Scott Invite
The first event wins of the afternoon were provided by triple jumpers Stacy Brown Jr and Grace Oshiokpu. Brown Jr leaped a PB 16.13m (52-11), while Oshiokpu bounded a PB 13.13m (43-8).
Sean Gribble took the men's pole vault with clearing a new PB height of 5.65m (18-6 ½). Entering the weekend, it's the No. 3 mark in the country. Bradford Jennings finished second in the high jump clearing a PB 2.21m (7-3), which would put him top-10 in the country.
The men's 4x400 team of Jonathan Crawford, George Garcia, Josh Bour and Shaemar Uter combined for a time of 3:04.43, en route to a new SB and No. 3 all-time in Tech history.
David Hemery Valentine Invite
Fanny Arendt lowered her school record in the 800m for a third-straight week running a 2:03.63. Lily Mather (4:47.57) and Taytum Goodman (4:54.15) each come away with new PB times.
Notables
· Busola Akinduro finished 2nd in the triple jump at 13.19m (43-3 ¼)
· Kashlee Dickinson finished 3rd in the pole vault clearing 4.24m (13-11)
· Amori Pierson won the women's shot put B with a PB mark of 15.98m (52-5 ¼)
