Texas Tech has announced an advanced sellout before all seven home games this season
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech will host UCF in front of another capacity crowd Saturday as the athletics department announced Wednesday it has sold out of its primary ticket inventory for this weekend's home finale.
Â
Texas Tech has now announced an advanced sellout for each of its seven home games this season as tickets to see the No. 6 Red Raiders have been in high demand since this past summer. Texas Tech is expected to snap the single-season school record for average attendance against the Knights, breaking the average of 58,934 that was set in 2014. The Red Raiders have played in front of an average of 60,128 fans a game so far this season.
Â
While Texas Tech is out of its primary ticket inventory, tickets for the UCF game can still be purchased through SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of the athletics department. As a reminder, the only two authorized sources of tickets for this game are tickets directly purchased through the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office and those purchased through its official secondary ticket partner, SeatGeek. Tickets purchased through any other source are not guaranteed to be valid, and the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office will not be able to assist fans with counterfeit tickets from an unauthorized source.Â
Â
Fans are highly encouraged to download their tickets in advance of arriving to Jones AT&T Stadium in order to speed up the entry process and to ensure connectivity. Fans unable to make a game can transfer their tickets to a friend or family member by using the Texas Tech mobile app or by accessing the online ticket account at TexasTech.com. Step-by-step instructions can be found here via TexasTech+.
Â
Kickoff between the Red Raiders and Knights is slated for 2:30 p.m. Saturday with coverage provided on FOX and the Texas Tech Sports Network. Texas Tech will recognize its senior class prior to kickoff, and all fans are encouraged to wear black.
