Texas Tech will induct Graham Harrell into its Ring of Honor during halftime of the Oklahoma State game
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced Monday the game time for Texas Tech's next home game on Oct. 25 against Oklahoma State as kickoff is set for 3 p.m. CT inside Jones AT&T Stadium. Television coverage will be provided on either ESPN2 or ESPNU with the exact designation determined after this weekend's slate of games.
This will be the 52nd all-time meeting between Texas Tech and Oklahoma State in a series that is tied 24-24-3 overall after the Red Raiders handed the Cowboys a 56-48 loss a year ago in Stillwater. Texas Tech is 13-8-2 all-time at home against the Cowboys with Oklahoma State's last visit coming in 2021.
Texas Tech has already announced an advanced sellout for the Oklahoma State game, one of six already on the docket for the Red Raiders this season. Fans still looking to purchase tickets are encouraged to do so via SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of Texas Tech Athletics.
The Oklahoma State matchup follows Texas Tech's road appearance this Saturday at Arizona State. The Red Raiders, ranked as high as No. 7 in the polls this week, head to Tempe with a perfect 6-0 record this season and a 3-0 mark in Big 12 play following wins at both Utah and Houston and then at home this past weekend against Kansas.
Oklahoma State is off to a 1-5 start to its season, which includes a 0-3 record in Big 12 games. The Cowboys will host Cincinnati at 7 p.m. CT this Saturday in Stillwater prior to making the trip to Jones AT&T Stadium.
Texas Tech will honor Graham Harrell as part of the Oklahoma State game as the legendary quarterback will have his name unveiled at halftime as the 12th member of the prestigious Ring of Honor. Harrell will also be recognized for his upcoming induction into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame as part of its Campus Salute program. He will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame this December in Las Vegas.
