Clark, a native of Rockdale, Texas, was named to the AP first team for the second-straight season after boosting a Red Raider offensive line that allowed just 13 sacks throughout the regular season. Tech ended the season surrendering just over a sack per game, an average that currently ranks 11th nationally.
The Red Raider running game also saw its most successful season in recent memory behind Clark and the rest of the offensive line. With Clark leading the way at left tackle, running back DeAndre Washington rushed for 1,136 yards, marking the first time a Red Raider has eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark since 1998.
Clark started all 12 games for Tech at left tackle. He will enter his 2015 senior season having started in 38-consecutive games, the longest active streak among Red Raiders.
Robertson, meanwhile, regularly created havoc for opposing offenses as he totaled a Big 12-leading 12 sacks to go along with 81 tackles. He currently ranks sixth nationally averaging exactly one sack per game.
His 12 sacks were the most for a Red Raider since Brandon Sharpe set a school record with 15 in 2009. Robertson ended the season ranked fourth all-time in Tech single-season history alongside Aaron Hunt.
This is the first time Robertson has garnered All-Big 12 first team recognition during his career. He was previously an honorable mention All-Big 12 pick by the league coaches last season.
The Associated Press All-Big 12 first and second teams were selected by a panel of 20 sports writers who regularly cover the league for newspapers throughout the league's five states.
