Texas Tech volleyball signed six recruits on Wednesday that will join the team in the fall of 2015.
LUBBOCK, Texas -- Head coach Don Flora and the Texas Tech volleyball coaching staff announced the 2015 fall signing class, consisting of two middle blockers, a setter, an outside hitter and two defensive specialists, on Wednesday.
The 2015 class combines for five All-State honors, 10 All-District selections and three state titles. Four of the six athletes were named to the 2014 American Volleyball Coaches Association Under Armour All-American Watch List.
"The Texas Tech volleyball program adds these six quality volleyball athletes today and this class adds great people, great character and solid athletic ability that will help them achieve great things collectively in the Big 12," Flora said. "They have embraced the culture of hard work we have here, and will represent the Texas Tech athletic department and the volleyball program in a positive manner throughout their careers here at Texas Tech University. These athletes all bring a personality and passion for playing elite volleyball. The collective impact will be special during their time here at Texas Tech University."
Volleyball recruiting class rankings have yet to be finalized, but this looks to be the most complete and talented class Flora has brought to Lubbock during his tenure, full of decorated players at both the high school and club volleyball levels.
