STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Texas Tech fell to No. 11 Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon, despite a strong performance from Amber Battle.
Battle led the Lady Raiders (6-11, 0-6) with 21 points.
Texas Tech was just 1 of 9 on 3-pointers.
Shauntal Nobles finished with ten boards, including seven offensive rebounds.
Brittney Martin scored 15 points for Oklahoma State.
Liz Donohoe added 10 points and 13 rebounds for the Cowgirls (16-1, 5-1 Big 12), while Brittany Atkins scored 14, LaShawn Jones had 13 and Kendra Suttles chipped in with 10. Oklahoma State shot 50 percent as a team.
Texas Tech trailed by just one point with 1:51 left in the first half, but the Cowgirls made three baskets in a row, including a jumper by Martin, to take a 33-28 lead at the break.
The second half was all Oklahoma State, though. The Cowgirls started the period on a 20-5 run - started and ended by treys from Donohoe - as they ran away from the Lady Raiders.
