LUBBOCK, Texas - The Red Raider cross country teams will head to Fayetteville, Ark., for the 19th Annual Chile Pepper Festival and compete against over 40 Division I and II schools, including nationally ranked teams. The squads will race on Arkansas' cross country course Sat., Oct. 13.
The Red Raider women sit at No. 24 in the nation going into this weekend's meet, seeking to improve from last year's performance at the Chile Pepper. Saturday's race will be the longest course distance the men's team has run on the season, on Arkansas' 10K terrain.
