Saldi also aided in the scoring when he recovered a fumble by Kansas quarterback Brian Luke in the endzone to give the Tech defense its first touchdown of the season. The last fumble recovery for a touchdown was last season against TCU when Keyunta Dawson returned one against the Horned Frogs for 17 yards.

Senior strong safety Vincent Meeks logged his 10th career interception in the fourth quarter and that moves him into a tie for seventh place all-time at Texas Tech. Meeks is tied with Kevin Curtis who also had 10 interceptions during his four-year (1998-2001) career with the Red Raiders.
BIG NIGHT FOR TRLICA
