LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech put everything in its place and fine-tuned the game plan for Saturday's Big 12 showdown with in-state rival and 20th-ranked Texas.
The Red Raiders host the Longhorns Sat., Nov. 4, at 6 p.m. (CT). The game will be televised on FOX Sports Net as network's national broadcast. Ron Thulin, James Lofton and Eric Clemons call the action from Jones SBC Stadium.
Texas Tech went through a brief 1-? hour workout in shells on the artificial turf of Jones SBC Stadium Thursday afternoon. Opening with a special teams session, the Red Raiders spent the remainder and much of the workout concentrating on the offensive and defensive game plans against the scout team.
"Our guys came out this week and had a great four days of practice," head coach Mike Leach said. "Both sides of the ball, special teams and scout teams have looked good all week.
"We will have a brief walk-through tomorrow afternoon and continue focusing 100 percent on Texas."
The Red Raiders and the Longhorns have met 48 times throughout the history of both programs. Texas holds a 35-13 advantage in the series and leads 12-8 in Lubbock.
