Ran in four meets during the outdoor season, all in the 800-meter run ... opened the year with a time of 2:24.93 at the TCU Invitational ... posted a time of 2:25.33 en route to a sixth-place finish at the Wes Kittley Invite on April 9 ... finished her season with a personal-best in the event, clocking in at 2:20.38 at the Michael Johnson Invitational on April 23 ... was named to the 2016 All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
2016 INDOOR
Competed in three meets for the Red Raiders during her first indoor collegiate season ... opened by running the 800-meter leg of the distance medley relay, helping the team finish second at the Texas A&M Quadrangular at 12:14.71 ... followed it up with a top 10 time in the 600 meters at the New Mexico Team Invite at 1:40.80 ... returned to Albuquerque a week later at the New Mexico Classic to post a time of 2:22.52.
PERSONAL
Came to Texas Tech after graduating from Marcus High School in Flower Mound ... third-place finisher in the 800m at the 2014 5A State Meet ... her 2:12.06 outdoor 800m run at the state meet was the No. 9 time in Texas, in 2014 ... ran the No. 4 indoor 800m time in Texas, in 2014 (2:21.09.).
