
Women's Golf releases 2025-26 schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech women's golf head coach JoJo Robertson announced the program's 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday, which will feature a trip to Pebble Beach, Calif., for the Carmel Cup, August 29-31, marking the first of five fall events. The fall schedule also includes the home-hosted Red Raider Invitational.
Texas Tech will host the Red Raider Invitational, Sept. 23-24, for the third straight year. The Red Raiders won their home fall event in both 2023 and 2024. The 2025 edition will begin on Tuesday (Sept. 23) with rounds one and two, and will conclude on Wednesday (Sept. 24) with the third and final round.Â
The Red Raiders will play three of its five fall events in the Lone Star State, including its home event, and travel out of state once more after opening the season at Pebble Beach for the Illini Invitational at Medinah, Oct. 6-7, an event the Red Raiders also competed in a year ago.
After the second half of their schedule in the spring, which includes five events and trips to Arizona, Florida and Las Vegas, the Red Raiders will start their postseason at Dallas Athletic Club in Dallas, Texas, for the 2026 edition of the Big 12 Championship, April 23-25. The conference tournament was last held at Dallas Athletic Club in 2023, a season Texas Tech finished fifth.
Per usual, the NCAA Regionals will be held at six different sites, in 2026, the sites include Ann Arbor, Mich. (U-M Golf Course), Chapel Hill, N.C. (UNC Finley Golf Course), Huntsville, Ala. (Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove), Stanford, Calif. (Stanford Golf Course), Tallahassee, Fla. (Seminole Legacy Golf Club) and Waco, Texas (Ridgewood Country Club). All six sites will host postseason competition from May 11-13, which will qualify 30 teams for the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., for the third year in a row. The NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee will select teams and individuals to participate in the regional rounds of the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships on April 29.
Texas Tech will seek to make its first trip to the NCAA Championships, May 22-27, since it moved to Carlsbad, and its first trip overall since 2023, when the NCAA Championships last hosted its tournament at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale.Â
