The sophomore set a new lifetime best Friday night
LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Texas Tech track and field team completed day two of the 2025 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday evening at Rock Chalk Park.

B.J. Jennings won the men's high jump title clearing a lifetime 2.22m (7-2 ¼), putting him No. 8 in the nation as of this weekend. In the process, he becomes the fifth Red Raider in the men's program to take home the title and first since 2017.
In her first Big 12 meet, Victoria Gorlova finished third in the long jump with a mark of 6.40m (21-0). She will compete in the triple jump final Saturday, her specialty event.

·     Trey Wilson scored 6th in the shot put, moving to No. 8 all-time in TTU history at 19.30m (63-4)
·     Cole Omlin finished 10th in the decathlon scoring a PB 6, 962 points
·     Kimarlie Stewart was the fastest 10mm qualifier today at 10.31
·     Oliva Cade scored 6th in the pole vault with an outdoor PB of 4.21m (13- 9 ¾)
·     Titus Kimaru scored 6th in the 3k steeplechase, while Lily Mather scored 7th
·     Walker Norris (4th) and Garison Breeding (7th) each placed in the long jump
