
Cross Country announces 2024 schedule

Texas Tech will open the season in New Mexico before coming home on September 13
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech cross country team will compete in six regular-season meets this year as the program announced its 2024 schedule Tuesday afternoon.

Tech will toe the line for the first time come August 31 when the Red Raiders head to New Mexico for the Lori Fitzgerald Invite hosted by New Mexico State. Just under two weeks later, Tech will host its one and only home meet of the season on September 13 at the LCU Cross Country Course.
Over the next two weeks, select runners will travel to NMJC for two separate meets on Sept. 20 and 27. The Red Raiders open the month of October in South Bend, Ind., running in the prestigious Joe Piane Invite on October 4. Two weeks later, Tech travels to College Station for the Arturo Barrios Invite on Oct. 18, the final regular-season meet of the season,
The Big 12 Championships this year will be held in Waco on November 1. Meanwhile, the NCAA Mountain Region Championship race will be in Reno, Nev., on Nov. 15 with the NCAA Championship taking place Nov. 23 in Madison, Wisc.
