Maddie Correa earns honor for third consecutive season
LUBBOCK, Texas – The College Sports Communicators 2024 Academic All-District Volleyball Team was announced on Tuesday afternoon featuring Maddie Correa and Emily Merrick. The award recognizes student athletes for their work in the classroom and on the court.
Student-athletes must of a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.50 and have competed in 90 of the program's matches to be considered for the honor. The Big 12 featured 41 student-athletes on the list.
This is Correa's third consecutive year being named to the team, most in program history. Merrick becomes the 15th Red Raider to receive this honor.
