It's the third time in program history and first since 2013 that a Tech runner is given the weekly award. In 2013, Kennedy Kithuka claimed the honor twice in a three-week span.
Texas Tech will travel to Hobbs for its final meet in New Mexico, the NMJC Invite No. 3, this Friday at Harry McAdams Park.
