The Red Raiders head to South Bend for the second time in three seasons
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech cross country is set to run in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational Friday morning at Burke Golf Course and Cross Country Course. This will be Tech's second trip back to South Bend in the last two seasons (2022).
Tech will be traveling a full squad consisting of 10 men and women. The women toe the line first in the 5k at 9:30 a.m. followed by the men's 8k at 10:15 a.m.

Up to this point in the season, the Red Raiders have four meets under their belt, with only one being in Lubbock – the rest have taken place in New Mexico. Last week in Hobbs, Tech only traveled select members of the women's team.
Freshman Peyton Wagner paced the way as she finished fourth overall with a 5k time of 19:14.60. Overall, three Red Raiders placed inside the top-10 with Riley Ries (19:31.80) placing sixth and Lila Crowley (20:10.00) finishing ninth.
